Sin City Bars are rich, decadent layered treats with chocolate, caramel, and pecans, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings at parties, gatherings, or when indulging in a luxurious dessert.

Ingredients

  • 18.5 oz. German chocolate cake mix
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 14 oz. pkg. Kraft caramels
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Mix the German chocolate cake mix with melted butter and spread evenly in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
  3. While the crust is baking, melt the Kraft caramels with milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the cooled crust.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped pecans over the melted caramel layer.
  6. Bake at 350°F for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the chocolate melts and everything is set.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
  8. Serve plain or with Cool Whip or ice cream. Bars freeze well.
