Ingredients

  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 box All-Bran cereal
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 5 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. melted butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Pour boiling water over All-Bran cereal and mix together.
  2. Mix all the remaining ingredients including buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, sugar, flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine the cereal mixture with the rest of the batter and mix thoroughly.
  4. Grease muffin cups and fill with batter.
  5. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25 minutes.
