Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic
  • cabbage

Instructions

  1. To make dressing, mix together sugar, salt, pepper, celery seed, mustard, and vinegar.
  2. Add mayonnaise slowly, stirring well. Refrigerate dressing until ready to make slaw.
  3. Cut garlic in half and rub the salad bowl with the cut side of the garlic clove.
  4. Add cut cabbage to the bowl.
  5. Pour desired amount of dressing over cabbage and mix well.
  6. Chill before serving.
