Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. beef shoulder, cubed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry wine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Mrs. Dash seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a heavy roasting pan, preferably cast-iron.
  2. Cover and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 2 hours.
  3. Check after 1 hour to see if more water is needed and add if necessary.
  4. Serve the smothered beef tips with steamed rice.
