- In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, ketchup, beaten egg, milk, minced onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into an 8 x 4-inch loaf and place in a microwave-safe dish.
- Microwave on Medium-high for 15 to 20 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink, rotating the dish a half turn halfway through cooking.
- Remove from microwave, cover with aluminum foil, and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Remove from dish, slice, and serve.
