Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 c. unseasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 tsp. minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, ketchup, beaten egg, milk, minced onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Shape the mixture into an 8 x 4-inch loaf and place in a microwave-safe dish.
  4. Microwave on Medium-high for 15 to 20 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink, rotating the dish a half turn halfway through cooking.
  5. Remove from microwave, cover with aluminum foil, and let stand for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from dish, slice, and serve.
