Ingredients

  • 6 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 5 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 cups catsup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine evaporated milk, 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce, and onion soup mix in a bowl; blend well.
  2. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef to the mixture and mix well. The mixture will be moist.
  4. Shape into balls using 1 tablespoon of mixture for each ball.
  5. Place the meatballs on a rack in a broiler pan.
  6. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not turn the meatballs.
  7. In a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients including the rest of the Worcestershire sauce.
  8. Cook, stirring until heated.
  9. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and serve.
