Ingredients

  • 1 or 1 1/2 lb. green beans
  • 2 to 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1/4 to 1/2 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • 2 medium potatoes, cut up

Instructions

  1. Fry the bacon lightly until partially cooked.
  2. Add all ingredients, including the bacon, green beans, water, salts, pepper, tomatoes, and potatoes to the pot.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender and flavors are melded.
  5. Season to taste before serving.
