Ingredients

  • 8 soft-shell crabs, cleaned
  • 1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • peanut or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Rinse crabs under cold water and drain.
  2. Coat them in a mixture of bread crumbs, flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. Put 1/8 inch oil in a large frying pan and fry the crabs over medium heat for about 4 minutes on each side, until nicely browned.
