Soprasta Pesto Bread features savory salami, creamy mozzarella, and aromatic pesto wrapped in soft bread, perfect for a flavorful appetizer or casual snack.

Ingredients

  • 3 loaves Italian white bread dough
  • 1 carton DiGorno pesto sauce
  • 1 to 2 mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Roll out each loaf of Italian white bread dough on a jelly sheet.
  2. Skim oil from the pesto sauce and discard.
  3. Spread pesto sauce on the dough, leaving an edge without pesto, not too much.
  4. Add salami slices on top of the pesto.
  5. Place sliced mozzarella on top of the salami.
  6. Optionally, add thin sliced onion rings and tomato slices.
  7. Roll up the dough like a jelly roll.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 30 minutes.
  9. Slice and enjoy.
