Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can green beans
  • 1 small can carrots
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Fill a large saucepan half full with water.
  2. Add tomato sauce, potatoes, corn, carrots, and green beans to the water.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain excess fat.
  4. Add the cooked ground beef to the soup and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add sugar if desired.
  6. Cook on medium-high heat until the potatoes are tender.
  7. Serve hot with bread or your favorite side.
