Ingredients

  • 2 cups Corn Meal
  • 2 cups Sour Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Shortening
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Stir together all ingredients until well combined.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes or until the top is nicely browned.
