Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups biscuit/baking mix
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine biscuit/baking mix, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and oregano; mix until well blended (batter will be thick).
  3. Spoon the mixture into a greased 8-inch round baking pan, spreading evenly.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the top of the batter.
  5. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting into wedges.
  8. Serve warm.
