A hearty layered pasta dish combining spaghetti, sausages, and melty cheeses with rich tomato sauce, perfect for family dinners or entertaining guests who love comforting Italian flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. spaghetti
  • 1 lb. mild sausage
  • 14 oz. jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
  • 16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 6 oz. Provolone cheese
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 12 oz. Muenster cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain.
  2. Brown the sausage; drain excess fat.
  3. Add Ragu spaghetti sauce, stewed tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese; mix well.
  4. Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce mixture and combine.
  5. Grate all cheeses and keep separate.
  6. Layer 1/3 of the spaghetti mixture in a 12 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  7. Sprinkle 1/3 of each cheese over the spaghetti layer.
  8. Repeat the layering process two more times, ending with cheese on top.
  9. Sprinkle a little more Parmesan cheese on the top layer.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes, until bubbly and browned.
  11. For best results, make the dish a day ahead and refrigerate.
  12. Cut into squares for serving.
  13. Reheat for 20 to 25 minutes at 250°F before serving hot.
