Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pkg. Stuffaroni noodles
  • 1/2 c. salsa
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown crumbled Italian sausage in a skillet.
  2. Add marinara sauce and water; bring to a boil.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta or cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, grated cheese, egg, and chopped green pepper.
  4. Fill cooked Stuffaroni noodles with the cheese mixture.
  5. Arrange the stuffed noodles in a baking pan in a single layer.
  6. Top with the sauce.
  7. Cover and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
