Spaghetti Pie(Microwave)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. fennel
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 c. hot cooked spaghetti
  • 1 c. cottage cheese

Instructions

  1. In 1 1/2-quart casserole crumble beef.
  2. Add onion, green pepper and garlic.
  3. Cook covered on 100% power for 4 to 6 minutes, stirring once.
  4. Drain fat.
  5. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, flour, basil and fennel.
  6. Cook uncovered on High 6 to 8 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes.
  7. Cover and set aside.
