Ingredients
- 8 oz. spaghetti ⓘ
- 1/4 cup margarine ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups half and half or lite cream ⓘ
- 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese ⓘ
- 1 cup shredded Fontina cheese ⓘ
- 1/2 cup grated Provolone cheese ⓘ
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon cracked pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley ⓘ
Instructions
- Prepare spaghetti as label directs; drain well in colander and keep hot.
- In a saucepan, melt margarine over medium heat.
- Stir in all-purpose flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in half and half or lite cream; cook until slightly thickened.
- Add shredded Mozzarella, Fontina, grated Provolone, and Parmesan or Romano cheeses; stir until melted and smooth.
