Ingredients

  • 8 oz. spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half or lite cream
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Fontina cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare spaghetti as label directs; drain well in colander and keep hot.
  2. In a saucepan, melt margarine over medium heat.
  3. Stir in all-purpose flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in half and half or lite cream; cook until slightly thickened.
  5. Add shredded Mozzarella, Fontina, grated Provolone, and Parmesan or Romano cheeses; stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and cracked pepper.
  7. Combine the cheese sauce with cooked spaghetti and toss to coat.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top before serving.
