Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup diced green pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 1/3 cups Minute rice

Instructions

  1. Combine tomato sauce, water, chopped onion, diced green pepper, butter, salt, sugar, prepared mustard, and pepper in a saucepan.
  2. Cover and bring to a full boil.
  3. Stir in Minute rice.
  4. Remove from heat; cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir with a fork before serving.
