- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, and shredded Cheddar cheese together.
- Hollow out the round loaf of pumpernickel or sourdough, reserving the top.
- Fill the hollowed loaf with the cheese mixture and replace the top.
- Wrap the filled loaf in foil.
- Bake for 1.5 hours.
- Serve warm with sliced raw vegetables and toasted bread chunks.
