Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon shortening

Instructions

  6. Do not stir; leave the batter undisturbed.
