Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh spinach
  • 1 c. chopped apple
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. caraway seed
  • 1/4 tsp. ground white pepper

Instructions

  1. Remove stems from the spinach; wash leaves thoroughly and pat dry.
  2. Tear spinach into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Combine the spinach, chopped apple, and chopped celery in a large bowl.
  4. Combine the cider vinegar, vegetable oil, caraway seed, and ground white pepper in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
  5. Pour the dressing over the spinach mixture and toss well.
