- Arrange drained spinach in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- Heat milk slowly with 4 tablespoons butter and American cheese until cheese melts.
- Cool slightly, then stir in slightly beaten eggs.
- Pour cheese sauce over the spinach.
- Saute minced garlic in 8 tablespoons butter until brown.
- Add toasted bread cubes and stir until they absorb the butter.
- Arrange the toasted bread cubes over the top of the spinach.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
