Ingredients

  • 3/4 to 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 lb. rhubarb, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Cut in the margarine and stir in the milk, chopped pecans, and orange peel.
  3. Drop biscuit dough onto the prepared rhubarb mixture in dollops.
  4. Bake in a hot oven for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with cream or milk if desired.
