Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 lb powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp anise oil
  • 8 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs on high for 20 minutes until they change to a lighter color.
  2. Add baking powder, powdered sugar, anise oil, and flour to the beaten eggs and mix well.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes using springerlief boards or a rolling pin.
  4. Place the cut cookies in a cold room overnight to rest.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 6 to 8 minutes until lightly golden.
