Spruced-Up Cheese Spread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 jar (4 ounces) diced pimientos, drained, divided
  • 3 cups finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Minced fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped pecans
  • Assorted crackers

Instructions

  1. Mix the first 7 ingredients and 1/3 cup pimientos. Stir in cheese.
  2. Transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with parsley, pecans and remaining pimientos. Serve with crackers.
