Ingredients

  • 2 lb. butternut squash
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 apples, peeled

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut peeled butternut squash into 1/2-inch pieces and arrange in an ungreased casserole dish.
  3. Slice peeled apples and layer them on top of the squash.
  4. Mix brown sugar, melted margarine, flour, and salt, then sprinkle the mixture evenly over the apples.
  5. Cover the casserole and bake for 1 hour.
