Ingredients

  • 1 squash (any summer squash)
  • 3 Tbsp. fat
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Slice and fry any summer squash.
  2. Place the cooked squash in a buttered casserole.
  3. Add 1 recipe of Creole Sauce to the casserole.
