Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 8 oz pork sausage
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, oregano
  • 1 can zesty tomatoes with green chili
  • 2 cans kidney beans drained
  • 1 can pinto bean
  • 2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1 large clove garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp mccormick chili powders

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and sausage in a large skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the browned meat to a large cooker.
  3. Add undrained diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, oregano, and zesty tomatoes with green chili to the cooker.
  4. Stir in drained kidney beans, pinto beans, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, minced garlic, chili powder, salt, and black and red pepper.
  5. Stir well and cook on high for about 4 hours, allowing flavors to meld.
