Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb boneless beef loin
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt or seasoned salt
  • 2 teaspoons sesame or salad oil
  • 1 green pepper
  • pineapple chunks

Instructions

  1. Cut meat into strips about 3/4-inch wide and 2-inches long; place in a shallow baking dish.
  2. Mix soy sauce, honey, garlic salt or seasoned salt, and sesame or salad oil; cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
  3. Remove beef strips from marinade, reserving the marinade; thread 5 pieces of meat onto 9 to 10-inch bamboo skewers.
  4. Grill 4 inches from medium hot coals until meat is browned, 4 to 5 minutes on each side, basting with reserved marinade.
  5. Garnish with pineapple chunks and green pepper strips before serving.
