Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon catsup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 pound boneless steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, wine vinegar, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, water, and garlic powder in a large shallow dish.
  2. Add the steak cubes to the marinade; cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
  3. Drain the steak from the marinade.
  4. Stir honey into the reserved marinade.
  5. Thread the marinated steak cubes onto bamboo skewers.
  6. Preheat the grill and cook the skewers for 5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  7. Baste the steak with the marinade during grilling.
