Tips & Substitutions

For a more tender steak, consider marinating it for a few hours in olive oil, vinegar, and herbs before pounding. If you don't have Parmesan, Pecorino Romano can be a great substitute. To make this dish even heartier, you can add sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers into the sauce, enhancing its flavor profile and texture. Serve with a side of garlic bread for a complete meal.

Serving Suggestions

This Steak Parmigiana pairs beautifully with a fresh side salad or roasted vegetables for a balanced meal. You might also enjoy it with pasta, like Spaghettini Ticino, to soak up the delicious sauce. A glass of red wine can complement the flavors nicely, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in an oven at 350°F for about 20 minutes until warmed through. You can also microwave individual portions for about 2-3 minutes, but the oven method helps maintain the crispiness of the breaded steak.
