Ingredients

  • 1 round steak
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • sesame oil
  • 2 bunches green onion tops
  • Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut the round steak into serving pieces.
  2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
  3. Brown the steak quickly in sesame oil.
  4. Drain excess oil, leaving browned bits in the skillet.
  5. Brown the cut green onion tops in the skillet.
  6. Pour some water over the onions and return the steak to the skillet.
  7. Add Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce to taste.
  8. Simmer the mixture for 2 to 3 hours until tender.
  9. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes, with the dark gravy.
