- In a medium bowl, beat eggs with a fork or whisk until blended.
- Add tomato sauce, water, oregano, basil, salt, and garlic powder to the eggs; stir to combine.
- Grease an 8 or 9-inch square baking dish.
- Arrange 4 slices of bread in the dish.
- Pour half of the tomato mixture over the bread.
- Sprinkle with half of the shredded Mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers with remaining bread, tomato mixture, and cheese.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover the dish and let stand for at least 1 hour or refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the strata for 45 to 55 minutes, until puffed and browned.
- Serve immediately.
