  • 46 oz. can pineapple juice
  • 2 liter bottle strawberry flavored soda
  • 2 liters bottles grapefruit flavored soda

  2. Remove half of the mixture and set aside.
  3. Add 1 cup of water to the remaining mixture in the blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into a Bundt pan.
  5. Repeat with the remaining strawberry-banana mixture and water; add to the Bundt pan.
  6. Slice the remaining strawberries and arrange them neatly around the mixture in the Bundt pan.
  7. Cover and freeze until solid.

Tips & Substitutions

For a smoother texture, ensure the bananas are fully ripe and soft. You can substitute the frozen orange juice with fresh orange juice if preferred, but the frozen version provides a more concentrated flavor. If you want a less sweet punch, reduce the amount of pineapple juice or opt for a less sweet soda. This recipe offers a great way to use up overripe bananas, similar to how you'd use them in a Quick Apricot Dessert Cake.

Serving Suggestions

This tropical punch is perfect for summer gatherings or as a refreshing dessert. Serve it alongside a light salad like California Walking Salad to balance the sweetness. Garnish each slice with orange slices for a vibrant presentation. It pairs beautifully with Five-In-One Fruit Salad for a complete fruity feast.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month. To serve, allow the punch to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before slicing for easier serving. If it becomes too hard, let it thaw slightly in the refrigerator before serving to maintain its texture and flavor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make this punch without soda?

Yes, you can replace the sodas with sparkling water for a lighter version. This will reduce the sweetness and calories while still providing a refreshing fizz. You can also add more fruit juice to enhance the flavor.

How can I adjust the sweetness of the punch?

To control sweetness, you can reduce the amount of pineapple juice or choose a less sweet soda option. Additionally, using fresh fruit instead of frozen strawberries can help balance the flavors without adding extra sugar.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Absolutely! This punch can be prepared a day in advance. Just ensure it is covered well in the freezer to prevent ice crystals. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to make slicing easier.
