- Cut the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the sour cream and mix until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 2 or 3 parts and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.
- Roll each portion of dough to 1/8-inch thickness.
- Spread apricot jam evenly over the rolled dough.
- Mix raisins and walnuts together and spread a thin layer over the jam.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, then roll up as for a jelly roll.
- Cut slits in the top of the rolled dough, 1/2-inch apart.
- Sprinkle additional cinnamon and sugar on top.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
