Stuffed Artichokes

- Clean and cut the artichokes, then snip off the pinchers.
- Soak the artichokes in salt water, then rinse and drain.
- Chop the garlic cloves.
- Place one garlic clove in each artichoke around the leaves.
- Mix the Italian seasoned bread crumbs and grated Romano cheese together.
- Spread the artichoke leaves and spoon the bread crumb mixture into each leaf, tucking parsley in.
- Place the stuffed artichokes upright in a Dutch oven.
- Pour a small amount of olive oil over each artichoke.
- Fill the pan with water up to the middle three-quarters of the bottom row of leaves.
- Bring to a boil and simmer slowly for 2 to 3 hours. Enjoy!
