Ingredients

  • 2 lb. large mushrooms
  • 1 lb. regular sausage
  • cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage in a skillet and drain off the fat.
  2. Add a little cayenne pepper to the sausage and stir in the grated Cheddar cheese.
  3. Place the large mushrooms on a buttered baking pan.
  4. Lightly salt the mushrooms.
  5. Stuff the mushrooms with the sausage mixture.
  6. Bake in a 350°F oven for 20 minutes.
