- Using a sharp knife, hollow out the center of each onion, leaving a 1/4-inch thick shell.
- Place the hollowed onions in an 8-inch square glass pan and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix the frozen peas, sliced mushrooms, shredded carrots, thyme, white pepper, and chicken bouillon granules.
- Fill each onion shell with the vegetable mixture.
- Cover the pan tightly with plastic wrap or a lid and microwave on High for 7 to 9 minutes until the onions are tender and the stuffing is hot throughout.
