Creamy stuffed shells filled with seasoned chicken and sour cream, baked with spaghetti sauce and cheese for a hearty, flavorful Italian-inspired dish perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 4 to 5 scallions
  • seasoning salt
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic
  • oregano
  • parsley
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 30 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 box pasta shells

Instructions

  1. Boil chicken breasts for 30 minutes until cooked through.
  2. Cut up the cooked chicken and place in a pan with chopped scallions.
  3. Season the chicken mixture with seasoning salt, salt, pepper, garlic, oregano, and parsley.
  4. Saute the chicken and scallions until heated through.
  5. Add spaghetti sauce to the chicken mixture and cook until the mixture is sticky; keep warm.
  6. Cook the pasta shells in boiling water until al dente, then drain and cool.
  7. Stir 8 ounces of sour cream into the chicken mixture.
  8. Stuff the cooked shells with the chicken and sour cream mixture.
  9. Arrange the stuffed shells in a baking dish.
  10. Pour the remaining spaghetti sauce over the stuffed shells.
  11. Sprinkle cheese on top of the sauce.
  12. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
