Stuffing For Turkey

Ingredients

  • 5 lb. potatoes
  • heart of turkey
  • liver of turkey
  • parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Chop the liver and heart together on a cutting board.
  2. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and garlic powder to the meat.
  3. Sprinkle parsley over the meat mixture.
  4. Chop in all ingredients until well mixed.
  5. Using a frying pan, coat the bottom with olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until lightly browned.
  6. Add the seasoned meat to the frying pan and cook until done.
  7. Peel the potatoes and boil them until tender.
  8. Mash the cooked potatoes with a fork.
  9. Add all the ingredients to the mashed potatoes and mix thoroughly using a beater.
  10. Add salt to taste. The stuffing is now ready to be used for stuffing a turkey.
