Ingredients

  • 1 chuck roast
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the center of a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, canned mushrooms, and dry onion soup mix.
  3. Pour the mushroom mixture over the chuck roast.
  4. Fold the foil around the roast securely to create a sealed packet.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 3 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  6. Remove from oven, carefully open the foil packet, and serve hot.
