Super Mexican Dip is a flavorful layered appetizer featuring seasoned beef, refried beans, cheese, and fresh toppings, perfect for parties and sharing with friends.

Instructions
- Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and chopped onions.
- Cook until beef is browned, breaking it up with a fork, about 5 minutes.
- Drain excess fat from the skillet.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon half of the refried beans into a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
- Top with half of the beef mixture, drained green chiles, drained salsa, and 1/2 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients: beans, beef mixture, chiles, salsa, and cheese.
- Can be prepared 1 day ahead, covered and chilled.
- Bake at 350°F until heated through and cheese melts, about 30 minutes.
- Top with sour cream, chopped green onions, and sliced black olives before serving.
- Serve with chips.
