Ingredients

  • 8 oz. ground beef
  • taco seasoning mix to taste
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 10 1/2 oz. can bean dip with jalapenos
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon green chilies
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 8 oz. package tortilla chips
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning mix and water; simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Spread bean dip over a large 12 x 14-inch pizza pan.
  4. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the bean dip.
  5. Top with cooked meat and chopped green chilies.
  6. Bake until cheese is bubbly and melted.
  7. Arrange shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and tortilla chips around the edge of the nachos.
  8. Serve topped with guacamole and sour cream.
