Super Pepper Steak features tender beef strips cooked with green peppers and onions in a savory tomato sauce, perfect for a quick, flavorful meal for family or friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. round steak, cut in strips
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup green pepper strips
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 can tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Brown beef in hot oil; add minced garlic and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add soy sauce, salt, water, and vegetables to the beef.
  3. Cook the mixture for 45 minutes.
  4. Blend cornstarch with tomato juice and stir into the stew.
  5. Add canned tomatoes and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Serve the pepper steak over rice.
