Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup apple butter
  • 1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tall can or 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs lightly in a medium bowl.
  2. Stir in apple butter, canned pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, pumpkin pie spice, and evaporated milk until well blended.
  3. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
  4. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and continue baking until the filling is set, about 45 minutes more.
