- Alternately add yeast mixture, milk, and flour to the creamed butter and sugar, beating until smooth.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough with 25 vigorous strokes.
- Spread the dough into a well-greased tube pan.
- Cover and let rise until doubled, about 35 to 40 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.
