Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey or beef
  • 3 c. (15 oz.) uncooked potatoes, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 2 c. carrots, sliced
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. frozen peas
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 3/4 c. (15 oz.) chunky tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground turkey or beef.
  2. Place sliced potatoes, chopped celery, sliced carrots, and chopped onion in a crock-pot.
  3. Sprinkle frozen peas over the vegetables.
  4. Spoon the browned meat over the vegetables and peas.
  5. Add the chunky tomato sauce and stir to combine.
  6. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender and flavors meld, about 30 minutes.
