Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 4 to 5 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 medium yellow or white onions, peeled and sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen green peas
  • 1 can tomato soup

Instructions

  1. Press the ground beef into the bottom and halfway up the sides of a 2-quart casserole dish.
  2. Layer the sliced potatoes, onions, carrots, and green peas on top of the beef.
  3. Spread the can of tomato soup over the layered vegetables.
  4. Cover the casserole dish and bake in a 300°F (150°C) oven for three hours.
