- Combine 1/2 cup of tomato juice, A.1. steak sauce, and cornstarch in a small bowl and set aside.
- Place a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil in a 10 x 14 x 2-inch pan to form a pouch.
- Spread butter in the center of the foil.
- In a skillet, brown the round steak until cooked through.
- Add onion soup mix, sliced mushrooms, green pepper, chopped tomatoes, salt, and pepper to the skillet and cook until vegetables are tender.
- Pour the tomato juice mixture over the meat and vegetables in the foil pouch.
- Seal the foil tightly to form a packet.
- Bake or cook as desired until heated through and flavors meld.
