- Slice the top off each tomato and scoop out the insides, removing the pulp.
- Sprinkle the inside of each tomato with salt and pepper.
- Mix the beaten egg, grated Swiss cheese, and curry powder together.
- Stuff the mixture into the prepared tomatoes.
- Place the stuffed tomatoes in a shallow baking pan.
- Combine dry bread crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the tops of the tomatoes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes or until the tomatoes are soft but still hold their shape.
