Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. water
  • bread crumbs
  • 4 to 6 peeled and sliced apples
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine in a processor the flour, 1/4 pound of butter, 1/3 cup sugar, white vinegar, and 1/2 teaspoon water.
  2. Press the mixture into a pie or fluted edge pan to form the crust.
  3. Spread bread crumbs over the top of the dough.
  4. Arrange peeled and sliced apples over the bread crumbs.
  5. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over the apples.
  6. Bake until the apples are tender and the crust is golden.
